2016 - Registration

To participate in Kon Tiki 2016 and to obtain your team number, you will need to preregister on Saturday, 6th February 2016 at the Scout Shop and HQ in Bramley between 08h00 and 09h30. Directions to this venue can be downloaded HERE.

For preregistration you should bring:

  1. A completed Kon Tiki Entry Form. 
  2. A completed Beaver Challenge Entry Form. 
  3. Proof of payment if already made.

Team numbers will be allocated and communicated to teams by email no later than 13th March, 2016 and will also be posted on the website. Should your team be sharing equipment with another team then the entry forms and payments for BOTH teams must be handed in AT THE SAME TIME so that your team numbers are allocated in the same sub-camp.

Should groups wish to camp as a District ALL entries for that District must be handed in simultaneously. Due to limitations of space entries will be “First come, first served “

Alan Ford has arranged this tool as a safety measure to ensure that the raft being built will have sufficient buoyancy provided for by barrels, before being launched. This will aid you and also ensure that the raft is sufficiently manoeuvrable should you need to be towed by a rescue vessel.  

If you have any questions or would like Alan to review it, please e-mail it to when you have populated the final version or bring it to KonTiki on a memory stick, Alan will go through it at the event.
